Trollbeads, an original and unique jewelry brand, originated in Denmark and remains a family company to this day. The collection began with the iconic Faces bead, a silver piece adorned with six faces, designed by Søren "Silversmith" Nielsen, the brother of Lise Aagaard.

Combining both modern and ancient techniques, Trollbeads are meticulously crafted. The majority of silver beads are shaped using the centuries-old 'cire perdu' or 'lost wax' method, dating back 3000 years. In 1988, Trollbeads expanded its collection to include gold pieces, representing the timeless symbols of power, wealth, and divinity. Crafted in 18K gold, these creations embody the perfect balance of purity and strength.

To enrich the diversity of their collection, Trollbeads invited 10 Danish jewelry designers in 2000 to contribute their unique designs. Today, the brand boasts over 90 talented Trollbeads designers, each adding their creative flair to the collection.

Setting themselves apart, Trollbeads introduced characterful clasps to their collection in 2000. These clasps were designed to be more than just functional closures but also stylish pieces of jewelry in their own right.
